Question by michaelK: would you agree that all gas stations need emergency generators?
this way when we lose power in a war or a natural disaster then americans could still get gas to get away or get back to work. this could be phased in for the gas companies. this could potentially save thousands of lives. watch the new york area without power.
the generators would run on natural gas or LP gas if no natural gas.

They probably do, but there’s no gasoline in their tanks becuase the tanks fill up with water in a flood and the gasoline floats away.

Gasoline is lighter than water.

    South Florida mandated it 7 years ago after Hurricane Wilma.

    i was against Mandating it. Stations who WANT to sell gas should buy one.

    First you would need to put someone in those gas stations who know how to run the generators.I worked on the for twenty years and auto.. transfer doesn’t always work if you don’t run them often.My observation has been most of the stations are run by packies or indians and they seem to lack mechanical ability..
